亚明(1924~2002年),安徽合肥人。原姓叶,名家炳,号敬植,后改名亚明。历任无锡市美协主席,江苏省美术工作室主任,华东美协理事,江苏省国画院副院长,中国美协江苏分会主席,中国美协常务理事,香港《文汇报》中国画版主编,南京大学艺术研究中心教授。 出版有《访苏画辑》、《亚明作品选集》、《亚明画集》、《三湘四水集》、《亚明近作选集》、《当代名家中国画-亚明》等。

人物简介

1939年参加新四军。1941年毕业于淮南艺术专科学校。1943年加入中国共产党。曾任新四军第七师文工团美术股副股长、华东画报社美术记者。建国后,历任江苏省国画院副院长,中国文联第四届委员,中国美协第三届常务理事、江苏分会副主席。作品《孟良崮战役》1985年获第六届全国美术展览铜质奖。有《亚明作品选集》、《三湘四水集》、《亚明新作选集》等。 中国画坛重要流派——“新金陵画派”的中坚推动者和组织者。
他以50余年的卓越艺术实践和成就,在中国美术领域特别是对新时期山水画的发展,作出了令人瞩目的贡献,因之被国际权威文化机构誉为当今世界文化名人。 亚明主张“中国画有规律无定法”。他提出国画去向应是立足继承民族文化传统,面向生活,融汇外国美术之精华,以促进其艺术的不断拓展。亚明艺术之作既是中国传统哲学和文化的延续,又溢满着新的时代风采。他先后多次受命出访,进行友好访问和开展中外文化交流工作。他的大量艺术作品曾在前苏联、德国、日本、美国、法国、意大利及台湾等地展出。中国各大美术馆、博物馆及重要国事活动场所,美国大都会博物馆、日本名古屋博物馆、澳大利亚悉尼美术馆等文化机构收藏有亚明之作。
国内外先后出版有《亚明作品选集》、《亚明画集》、《亚明近作选集》等多种画册。
亚明 曾任苏南农民画报社主编。江苏国画院副院长。中国美术家协会江苏分会副主席、主席。南京大学教授,中国美术家协会常务理事、理事,中国文联委员。江苏省文联顾问、中国美协常委。江苏省国画院副院长,一级美术师。作品有《货郎图》、《山河新貌》、《秋山吟》等。出版有《亚明画集》等. 虽已年逾古稀,但仍以其大量新作面世,显示着他特有的不倦创作潜力。

生平经历

亚明,安徽合肥人。1941年毕业于淮南艺术专科学校,十六岁参加新四军,历任记者、美术编辑、画报主编、江苏省国画院副院长、南京大学教授等职,中国文联委员、中国美术家协会常务理事、美协江苏分会主席,斋名悟园、觉斋、沙砚居。
基于幼时蒙发的绘画兴趣,亚明在抗日宣传工作中,掌握了一些基本的绘画技术。从部队转业到地方后,结识了当地的一批国画家——吕凤子钱松岩周怀民秦古柳。当时美术界非常时髦“取消国画”,他却激流勇退,公开批判这一荒谬观点,并于1953年改画国画。同年到南京,在江苏省文联筹委会负责美术工作,开始了他的美术领导生涯,和吕凤子、傅抱石陈之佛、钱松岩等一批大师朝夕共处,专攻中国画,擅人物、山水。
1956年,国务会议批准在北京、上海两地建立中国画院,亚明负责了江苏省国画院的筹备工作。因为亚明团结国画家并领导国画创作,使江苏新国画创作在中国美术界异军突起,创作了一大批充满时代气息的优秀作品,使人们看到了传统艺术在新社会的作为,从而赢得了在国内画坛上的声誉。1960年,经亚明组织、由傅抱石领队的江苏国画院一行十三人,开始了在现代美术史有深远影响的二万三千里的旅行写生。
在这次写生活动中,亚明目睹了老画家写生创作的全过程。对他来说,这是一次极好的学习机会,同时又给他以新的艺术启发,感到借人抒情不如借景写心,开始转画山水。当《山河新貌》展在中国美术馆展出并引起画坛注意的时候,傅抱石说出了许多老画家的心里话:“时代变了,笔墨就不能不变”。而对于亚明来说,当时只是把刚学的传统技法运用到现实创作中。他的《三峡灯火》、《华岳一奇峰》、《华山》作为早期山水画作品,当时的影响虽不如傅抱石、钱松岩,却表现了一种新的气息。他将自己的创作经验总结为:向传统学习,向生活学习。
“文革”中,亚明作为江苏美术界的头号人物,身陷囹圄五年。但是因为他的革命经历,使他成为第一批获得“解放”的画家,并在1973年就迈出了国门,率中国美术家代表团赴越南访问。这正好与他第一次出国相距20年。1953年,他访问苏联后,出版了《访苏速写辑》,为时人所难比。而越南写生之作,又使业内人士刮目相看。十年后,他赴北欧五国的旅行写生,以1985年在北京的展出所获得的赞誉,确立了他外国风情作品的历史地位。如果说在二十世纪美术史上傅抱石开创了外国风情写生和创作这一传统国画所没有的题材,为传统国画的革新探索出一条新路,那么亚明则是拓宽了这一条路。
七十年代后期,亚明开始以古代诗词名篇为题的山水画创作,为“文革”后期的山水画注入了一股新鲜的空气。他寄希望于一些传统的题材,探求中国画永恒的意境、趣味、气韵,从尘封中找回传统的笔墨,恢复失去知觉的传统笔墨,从而使传统的中国画薪火续传。他不断到北京参与外交使馆、宾馆和国家重要建筑的布置画创作,同时参与筹建中国画研究院,试图通过南北画家的联合再创一个时代的辉煌。
八十年代,亚明的艺术创作进入高峰期。1984年创作的《孟良崮》入选第六届全国美展,1989年创作的《海风》入选第七届全国美展。直至1995年创作了《南京大屠杀》,以他对五十年前抗日生涯的回顾而告别主题性创作。另一代表作《长江万里图卷》,以其精心的构思、宏大的篇幅和细致的刻画、独到的笔墨,成为他一生高峰期的经典之作。

个人成就

亚明同时又是一位非常注重传统的画家。他从五十年代初画国画人物开始,就背临《步辇图》,继之临李公麟、陈老莲、任伯年。转画山水后,他又临沈周的《关山积雪》,实际上沈周的风格只是为他确立了基本的笔墨结构,而南朝竹林七贤的放迹不拘与五代徐熙的野逸风格,加之40年的南京生活,则为他思想和文化的血脉中注入了遗传的基因。
亚明历年创作,曾多次参加国内外展览和被广泛收藏。人物画《货郎图》曾入选在苏联举办的社会主义国家造型艺术展览;山水画主要有《巫峡烟云》等。中国美术馆收藏有《晨曲》等多幅作品。作品为美国纽约大都会博物馆、日本名古屋博物馆、牙买加国立博物馆、瑞典东方博物馆收藏。多次率团访问外国和在外讲学,1981年和1987年分别于新加坡、日本举办个人画展。出版有《晋明画集》、《亚明近作选集》、《亚明作品选集》、《三湘四水》等。
