余涛，笔名满江，1952年生于陕西省西安。1990年毕业于西安美术学院中国画系，历任西安铁路文化宫三级美术师。陕西省工艺美术培训学院副院长，陕西省书画研究院研究员。中国美术家协会会员，陕西工艺美术学院副院长，陕西省花鸟画研究会副秘书长，长安铁道书画院副院长。
善工大写意、花鸟以及山水画。曾在北京、杭州、成都、西安等地举办个人画展、联展，作品参加中国美术家协会举办的国家级重大展览6次，三次获奖。并被收入《全国首届中国画作品集》、《全国第二届花鸟画作品集》、《首届中国画三百家作品集》等二十余部大型画集。出版《余涛中国画作品集》。《香中别韵》等被中南海、人民大会堂、毛主席纪念堂及许多国家级美术馆、博物馆收藏。入编《中国美术家大辞典》、《当代书画名人录》等多部典籍。出版《余涛画集》。
