李凌云（1924.3-2004.4）男，广东兴宁人。汉族，现为中国美术家协会会员，中国画研究院专业画家。自幼喜欢绘画，1942年于广东省立艺术院毕业后在广西柳城等地任中学美术教员多年。后考入上海美术专科学校、专攻国画山水、花鸟。
1948年入伍在部队从事文艺工作，曾任支队文工队长，兵团文工团创作股副股长。1951年任《华东画报》社美术创作员，1953年任《华东杂志社》美术编辑，1955年秋调入总政治部文化部任美术编辑。1958年参加筹备军事博物馆的工作，1978年8月调国务院文化部中国画创作组参加中国画研究院的筹备工作，后在中国画研究院从事创作和研究工作。其创作以花卉为主，尤擅牡丹。作品笔墨浑厚，构图新颖，格调清雅。
作品多次入选国内外重大书画展览。1986年秋应邀去伊拉克参加巴格达国际造型艺术街，3幅作品参加展览。《墨牡丹》1987念月获“杜康杯”国画牡丹大赛荣誉奖，1988年10月获“北京国际水墨画展”优秀奖。另有作品《晨曲》、《蜂恋繁香不记归》、《春满庭园》等分别被中国美术馆、中国画研究院、北京人民大会堂收藏。出版有《国色颂－李凌云牡丹画集》、《李凌云画牡丹技法》等书。
