自幼随其父学习国画，1989年至1991年在中央美术学院国画系进修，师从张立辰先生；2001年毕业于解放军艺术学院美术系，先后师从刘大为、袁武先生；2008年就读于中国国家画院龙瑞山水画高级研究班，师从龙瑞先生；得到过艺术大师黄永玉先生亲自指导，近年来，在专业报刊发表作品100余幅，多次参加国内外画展并获奖，现为中国美术家协会会员，国家高级美术师。民革中央成员，CCTV7［美丽乡村快乐行］栏目艺术总监，北京市朝阳区特派巡视员，国家新闻出版广电总局美术家协会理事，北京中山书画社常务理事，中央民革画家特聘画家，北京市朝阳区中山书画社副会长，北京晚报、北京青年报、农民日报、美术报、中国书画报、中国新闻出版报、意大利欧洲华人报等多家主流媒体对其进行报道。主要发表作品有《山水境象——黄娜专辑》《黄娜画集》《诗意山水》。北京纪事发表黄娜访谈录：中国政协网、新浪网、搜狐网、百度、网易、千龙网、雅昌网、中国画坛等数十家网站介绍并宣传其作品。
