张士增，别名石真，张士增，现为文化部中国画研究院研究员、国家一级美术师、国家级《中国画研究》杂志主编、中国美术家协会会员、中国书法家协会会员、东方拍卖公司艺术品鉴定委员会委员、首都师范大学外语学院客座教授、香港书画学会名誉理事。　　
1985年之前任中国美术家协会《美术》杂志编辑组长、《中国美术》副主编。1986年赴法国讲学，在巴黎吉美东方博物馆讲授中国当代美术并举办展览。访问期间受到法国总统希拉克和夫人在爱丽舍宫的接见和宴请，还先后为法国外交部长、国防部长等政要作画。1992年作为中国美术家代表团团长，率团访问日本，并在东京、京都、大阪等地讲学。此后多次出访或办展览于意大利、奥地利、德国、美国、加拿大、日本和瑞典等国家，作品被国际著名画廊和博物馆收藏。1992年被列入英国剑桥国际传记中心出版的20世纪知识分子名人录。此外艺术成就列入中国美术家协会编《中国美术家大辞典》、中国美术馆编《中国美术年鉴》、国家人事部编《中国专家大辞典》等多种辞书。作品发表于《美术》、《国画家》、《江苏画刊》、《艺术界》、人民日报、中国文化报等报刊。1988年担任北京国际水墨画展评委，1990年作品获加拿大国际美术展特别优秀奖。曾发表美术论文和评论100余篇。出版有《张士增画集》(一、二、三)、《中国画家张士增》、《旧居》系列、《说画、说人――张士增文集》等。　　
张士增的作品早期以抽象水墨画为主，后主要以江南水乡风景为题材，创造出大写意风格描绘江南民居和园林建筑的构架，又结合写实手法描写江南风景的工写结合的艺术样式，在中国画界独树一帜，受到高度评价。他的花鸟画继承了传统写意花鸟画自由奔放的精神品质，又融入了西方绘画构成和色彩的观念，从笔墨和色彩两个方面创出了新的路子，形成了独特的风格，为世人珍赏。
