郭涛，字林之，号乐山，1967年10月生于甘肃会宁，毕业于西北师范大学美术系，先后深造于清华大学美术学院高研班，中国国家画院刘大为工作室。先后师龚建新、刘大为、陈嵘等导师，清华大学继续教育学院中国美术创作高级研修班导师，清华美院中国书画名家高研班导师，广州大学美术与设计学院客座教授，国家画院刘大为工作室画家，白银市美协艺术顾问，中国美术家协会会员，出版有《中国画名家作品集郭涛水墨人物》。
