1962年出生于山东单县，当代著名画家，现任全国政协《画界》杂志编辑部副主任，中国美术家协会会员，农工党北京东方画院副院长。

其作品曾多次参加国内外大型书画展并获奖，创作题材以梅、兰、竹、菊、松为主，墨韵丰富，夺人入目。近年来致力于墨竹创作，作品虽受苏东坡、吴镇、石涛、郑板桥影响较深，但不拘陈规，勇于独创，用笔秀劲潇洒，墨韵丰富，繁而不乱，简而不空，气韵酣畅，形神俱足，取得了为世人公认的艺术成就，其作品亦多次作为国礼赠送给外国政府首脑，并为国内外名人雅士所收藏。
