王婧琪，又名王桂群，河北威县人，1971年开始在北京画院习画，师从著名画家潘洁兹、黄均教授等。先后学习深造于北京教育学院艺术系、首届中国文化部重彩画高研班，现为中国美术家协会会员，盈创全能资源投资公司美术师，辽宁盼盼书画协会常务副会长。
王桂群擅长当代重彩花鸟画，尤其擅长表现荷花梦幻般的意境。自1998年参加文化部重彩高研班学习后，形成一种将传统中国画与西方艺术相融合的风格。表现这种风格的作品“秋日斑斓”被中国美术馆收藏，“雾荷”被国宾馆收藏。1999年以来，多次赴德国、意大利、法国、奥地利、西班牙、美国等，与西方画家交流到各大美术馆观摩，进一步增强现代美术意识，画风更加新颖。
她的作品多次参加国内外展览，多次获奖。多次举办个人画展。多幅作品被国内外美术馆收藏。2008年作品“朝霞”在国际奥委会、中央人民共和国文化部、第29届奥运会组委会、中国美协共同组织的“2008奥林匹克美术大会”上展出，并被奥林匹克艺术中心荣誉收藏。多件作品在报刊上发表和选入画册。出版有“王桂群花鸟画集”等。她用女性特有的敏感细腻，注重心理体验，精神和情感，在传统的工笔画基础上，恰当使用了重彩手法，以其女性特有的艺术感觉，文静执着的个性，构造了一个静谧梦幻、香远益清的荷花世界，给人一种视觉享受。正如画家的艺术感悟：光影与流动，若与天色接，词能摄丛草之魂。画更应如此。著名书法家启功为王桂群的写生画集题词：桂群女史，笔夺天工。著名画家潘洁兹说：“她是世纪末中国工笔画坛崛起的一位女画家，创造性地发展了没骨花鸟的创新之路。”
