章月忠，1961年9月出生于浙江新昌，毕业于浙江教育学院艺术系，结业于中国美术学院国画系花鸟专业，杭州师范学院美术学院研究生课程班，何水法中国花鸟画高研班。
擅国画花鸟，兼书法篆刻，作品多次入展全国书画展览。其作品在《艺术探索》、《中国艺术家》、《水墨中国》、《艺术名流》、《水墨名家》等刊物专题介绍，出版有《章月中国画作品集》。
现为中国书法家协会会员，浙江省美术家协会会员，浙江省书法家协会刻字委员会副秘书长，绍兴市美术家协会副秘书长，西泠书画院特聘画师。
章月中很早就出道了，说他出道早的原因在于他从小以来一直从事的是书法艺术，很顺利地被认可为中国书协会员，书法的功底修为为他慢慢地转向中国画创作提供了必要的修养基础，可以这么说，如果没有他的书法，就不可能有他今天的花鸟画艺术。因为作为写意花鸟来说，对“笔”的驾驭能力、线条的掌控能力、流转的把握能力等是非常重要的，没有一手好字，没有对中国书法艺术实践的深刻体验，很难以走到较高度的层次。
章月中花鸟画是从传统中延伸过来的，他积习传统日久，他的作品不仅有近代齐白石、吴昌硕的影子，还有古代陈白阳、虚谷、赵之谦等的遗韵，老辣中兼带松柔、酣畅中兼有克制，用笔讲究徐缓，运墨注重节奏与变化生成的美感。
月中绘画除了小幅抒情写意作品外，更能以大气局作品震撼人心，作品尺幅宏阔，气息受恩师何水法先生影响较大。他不拘于梅兰竹菊传统题材，而是直接面对生活，面向大自然，表现鲜活的生命特征，让我们这个时代的人感受到了中国花鸟画在当代生命力的延伸。
