朱贵祖，1946年生于兰州，现定居北京。现为中国美术家协会会员、中国三峡画院副院长、中国书画艺术研究院副院长、中国炎黄书画院名誉院长、世界华人香港艺术院院长、西北民族学院美术系客座教授、中国诗书画协会副会长、书画进修学院客座授、九州书画协会副秘书长等。毕业于西北师范大学，后从戎为军旅画家，转战于天山南北，寻觅在黄河落日，笔耕于昆仑连。坚持深入生活，创作题材广泛，善写花鸟，尤擅长画葡萄、牡丹，技法新颖，颇具创新。作品给人感觉以气韵人、笔飞墨舞、满纸生动;苍劲凝练、笔墨泼辣、构图颖、且具巧思。在经年累月、酷暑严寒中，写意创生，领悟艺术生活之博大，以其精湛的花鸟作品饮誉画坛，有朱葡萄之戏称。曾三次成功举办个人画展，并被邀为全国两会作画，部分作品先后被国内外各界名人雅士收藏。多幅作品入选大型画展并获奖。《解放军报》、《西部商报》、《民族画报》、《中国书画报》、《厦门大厝画报》、《闽西日报》等多家新闻媒体都予以报道。
