陈鹏同，1948年生，山东菏泽人。中国美术家协会会员，研究馆员，中国和平统一促进会六、七、八届理事。
七十年代，多次参加山东省美术创作组，与老一辈画家于希宁、单应桂等先生一同写生、创作，深受教益。
1973年，《牡丹乡之春》入选全国美展，并评为优秀奖，赴西欧五国巡展。
1977年，《沂蒙新颜》在《美术》一期发表。
八十年代，开始游历名山大川，先后沿黄河、长江写生，足迹遍及三山五岳、雁荡峨眉、大漠高原、雪域藏寨。
1983年，《低昂枝上》入选中国画研究院画展。
1984----1986年，广西艺术学院，中国画研究生班进修，导师为黄独峰先生。
1988年，菏泽市艺术馆研究馆员，山东画院高级画师。
九十年代回北京后，应邀为中南海、人民大会堂、中央统战部等单位创作大幅作品并收藏。
1991年，《墨牡丹》入选第六届全国花鸟画展。
1997年，《峡江春晓》获“长江三峡画展”金奖。
1998年，山东省八、九届政协委员。天津人民美术出版社《陈鹏同画集》。《版纳秋韵》入选中国美术馆“庆香港回归周年画展”。
2003年，《中国书画报》等编辑《中国书画百杰》邮政明信片系列，收入《陈鹏同作品集》。
2009年，参加中国和平统一促进会书画家访问团赴台湾交流访问。
2013年，北京工艺美术出版社出版《陈鹏同作品集》。
