徐凡，男，1944年1月生于江苏省南京市，曾任文联常务副主席兼秘书长，现居北京。现为中国美术家协会会员，北京中国现代仕女画家，毕业于中央美术学院，擅长中国画人物，尤为古今现代仕女画，曾先后赴法国等地考察及举办画展。
作品多次赴美国、意大利、澳大利亚、日本等海外展出，并应邀参展北京、上海、广州、昆明、南京等各国际国内的大型艺术博览会和画展，多次荣获金银奖。
传略及作品入编：中国艺术人才数据库（中国画研究院）、中国当代艺术界名人录（北京）、世界美术家传（香港）、中国当代美术家名录（上海人美）、世界美术集（香港）、江苏省中国国画家作品选（北京人美）、徐凡画集（香港）等十余种辞典专集。
多件作品为中南海、中央文化部、英国格林威治市、中国银行、刘海粟美术馆、中央美术学院、云南世界园艺博览会、江苏美术馆、南京十竹斋、江苏省国画院等及美国、法国、比利时、加拿大、台湾、香港等国内外个人及团体组织或企业收藏或为馈赠礼品。1991获中央文化部《中国现代民间绘画优秀辅导员》的荣誉称号。著有《中国现代民间绘画的新发展》、《徐凡画集》《徐凡仕女画集》等。新创作的《徐凡中国现代百美图》以百万元深圳天价售出。
徐凡的仕女画凭借着曾在中央美院研习近千人模特儿的扎实基本功，对中国画的人物尤其女人体继承和创新进入深入地探索和研究，其作品高雅、唯美、清新，给人以美的享受和强憾的艺术感染力，人见人爱，收藏者趋之若鹜。现为世界文化艺术研究中心理事、中国现代民间绘画研究会理事、中国东方文化艺术联谊会学术委员、徐悲鸿艺术中心理事、台湾南台集团海南南台大唐书画有限公司名誉画师、江苏省国际文化艺术研究中心理事、中国美术会会员、江苏分会会员、江苏省国画院特聘画家、海台国际书画院名誉院长、北京《中国收藏》杂志艺术顾问香港《中国书画家》杂志艺委会主任。
