康健寨，1974年生于河北正定县。国画作品先后刊载于艺术状态中国书道中国文化画报画道等艺术刊物，书法作品曾参加第四届中国书坛新人新作展第七届全国书法大展等。现任职于河北教育出版社北京颂雅风文化艺术中心。
国画作品先后由《艺术状态》、《中国书道》、《中国文化画报》、《画道》、《藏画》等艺术杂志专题刊介。先后主持、参与编辑《世界艺术大师》、《中国艺术大师》、《中国名画家全集》、《中国书法家全集》等各类艺术图书千余种。
艺术最可贵处就是执念，还有就是切身参与寻找的过程。这些构成个人文本，几经解读，沉淀出的便是独立的作品。而每个人作为参与时代的体验者，会书写出截然不同的时代特征。在健寨的作品中，展现的并不仅是作为艺术家的一面，他多年的生活历练更丰富了这些作品，使观者能隐约窥见其背后可读解的深层含义。
认识健寨近二十年了，在他身上，总有那么点不温不火的韧劲儿。那时候我们一同做艺术图书的出版，他做编辑的过程，其实也是在不断地进行学习与探索，逐渐形成他今天的山水面貌，他作品的立意与布局拥有独立的图式，延伸了文人气质中内敛的一面。另一方面，国画最讲究线条，不论是空间的分割，还是时间的进程，包括艺术家的情感都通过流动的线条凝聚在纸上。健寨笔下成熟的线条，主要得益于对书法的研究。这些笔法上的变化，从笔意、体势、结构、章法搭配出的曲直虚实、秾纤疏密都传达着他内心的韵律，它们赋予了山水多重的意趣。
我和他一同经历了当代艺术前所未有的蓬勃期，眼见着艺术依附线性的市场概率发展，又看到了这种膨胀误导艺术去急速展现复杂的概念。在极具不确定性的当下，真挚的创作似乎是非常遥远的行为。艺术并非只是喧嚣的产物，我们需要缓慢的视觉体验，才能保证其真正含义被发掘。尤其是中国画，笔墨修养归根到底需要的是艺术家知识和人格的修养，这些传达的不仅是画面程式，也是他的感情和心灵的深度。而在健寨的山水中，就映照出了这份恬淡而蕴藉的坦荡。
当然，今天不断变化的风格也是这个时代的特征，但独立的风格是艺术家与观者之间的共识，是建筑在视觉文化延伸中对精神价值的认同感。而健寨无疑将自我心理上百转千回的体验，用山水熟知的景象来诠释艺术新的可能，它不是去否认过去的形式，而是将更具时代情感的记忆与山水连接起来。也可以说，他一直在山水中，寻找真正的自我。
