张勇，字天笑，听雨楼主，浙江杭州人。先后毕业于浙江高等艺专、中国美术学院。现为杭州江南学院美术学院副院长，中国美术学院成教院自考部副主任，浙江画院研究员。作品多次在港、澳、台等地区及新加坡、泰国、加拿大、美国、澳大利亚、德国、日本等国家展出并被收藏。出版有《张勇作品集》、《张勇画集》等。
作品多次在《香港新报》、《美术报》、《收藏》、《青年时报》、《每日商报》、《杭州日报》、《艺术收藏》、《浙江视觉艺术》发表，浙江卫视、浙江卫视艺术沙龙、湖南卫视等曾专题采访。
