丁密金，1957年10月出生，湖北麻城人。湖北美术学院中国画专业研究生毕业，硕士学位。2007年至2009年在中国国家画院刘大为工作室人物画课题班研修。现为北京林业大学艺术设计学院院长，教授，硕士生导师，中国美术家协会会员。

作品入选第九届全国美展、第二届全国人物画展、傅抱石奖·南京水墨传媒三年展、第二届今日中国美术大展、第三届成都双年展、第六届深圳国际水墨双年展、全国高等美术院校中国画名师作品展等全国性重要展览数十次，并有多幅作品获奖。被业界评为当代最具学术价值和市场潜力的人物画家。

《美术》《文艺研究》《美术观察》等核心期刊曾专栏推介其作品。部分作品被国内外艺术机构和私人收藏。出版过多种个人画集。

Ding miyin was born in October 1957 in Macheng, Hubei Province. Graduated from Hubei Academy of Fine Arts with a master's degree in Chinese painting. From 2007 to 2009, Liu Dawei of China National Academy of Painting studied the subject class of figure painting in his studio. Now he is the dean, professor, tutor of master's degree and member of China Artists Association of Beijing Forestry University.

 

His works have been selected for dozens of important national exhibitions, such as the Ninth National Art Exhibition, the Second National Figure Painting Exhibition, the Fu Baoshi Award, the Nanjing Ink and Wash Media Triennial, the Second Today's Chinese Art Exhibition, the Third Chengdu Biennale, the Sixth Shenzhen International Ink and Wash Biennial, and the National Exhibition of Chinese Painting Masters of Fine Arts Colleges and Universities. It has been rated as the most academic value and market potential figure painter in the contemporary industry.

 

The core journals such as Art, Literature and Art Research and Art Observation have recommended their works in columns. Some works have been collected by domestic and foreign art institutions and private collectors. A variety of personal art collections have been published.
