杜炳申，男，中国画画家，字华农，画室名“逆风堂”，河北省安国市人（药都—古祁州）。国家一级美术师（教授），中国美术家协会会员、河北省美协东方艺术学会副会长，河北省中国画研究会名誉会长，其擅长中国花鸟画兼山水画。退休前供职于中国河北省博物馆研究部。花鸟画师承李鹤筹教授、山水画师承张大千门生刘君礼先生，创中国花鸟画“没骨泼彩法”独立画风，其花鸟画作于1984年获“河北省《中堂画》展”佳作奖，于1987年入选全国新人新作展；于1988年获全国“中华杯中国画大奖赛”二等奖；于1989年入选第七届全国美展，并获省一等奖；于1991年获“首届中国旅游书画艺术节”优秀作品奖；1992年获“首届全国中国花鸟画作品展”佳作奖，并获省特等奖；1993年入选“首届全国中国画作品展”和“深圳特展”；1994-1996年连获第一、二届“王子杯海峡两岸书画大赛”、“海峡两岸著名画家精品集”、“全国著名花鸟画家作品展”金奖和优秀作品奖，1999、2000年连获“世界华人艺术大会”香港大型艺术展参评特别金奖和国际特别奖，2001年入选“全国画院双年展、首届中国画展”并获河北全省画院中国画作品展一等奖。专著《怎样画没骨法牡丹》一书，由河北美术出版社1992年出版，1994、1995年再版。《画松鹤技法》一书，由天津美术出版社2002年出版。《2002年月历·杜炳申花鸟画选》由云南美术出版社出版。《论中国画的笔墨概念》于《中国画研究》2002年第二期(总三期)发表。应日本松本市日中友好协会的邀请，于1987年访日讲学和举办“现代中国花鸟画家杜炳申氏作品展”文化交流活动，1985、1986、1997、2001年曾于石家庄市、北京举办四次杜炳申花鸟画作品展。国内外几十部书画典籍，名人录和作品大观、画册等，均辑入其辞条和作品，其花鸟画工笔、没骨法、小写意、泼墨法、泼彩法诸格皆能并佳。
