刘文清，山东曹县人，浙江传媒学院影视动画学院院长，教授。中国美术家协会会员，中国舞台美术学会会员，浙大传媒学院学术委员会委员，浙江省逸仙书画院，钱塘书画院画家，河南省书画院特聘画家，1978年毕业于河南大学美术系，后在河南省周口地区艺术馆工作。曾任河南省周口地区美术家协会副主席，河南电视台制作部副主任，河南省美术家协会中国人物画艺术委员会副主任，副秘书长中国少林书画研究会副会长，河南省新闻记者书画协会副会长，河南省嵩山书画院副院长等职。
美术作品入选《全国第七届美术作品展览》、《全国第四届年画展览》、《第四届中国体育美术展览》、《中国第四届工笔画大展》、《中国画三百家展览》、《全国高等美术院校中国画名师作品展》、《河南省书画院双年展》、《杭州第七届中国艺术节》等。其中《牡丹仙子》获全国牡丹画展优秀奖，《红草莓》获当代中国工笔画大展优秀奖，《试登绝顶望乡国》获日本第七界世界和平书画展佳作奖……
刘文清多次举办个展、联展。被中国文联授予――“99中国百杰画家”。其作品在美.澳.荷兰等国家展出，部分作品被澳洲中国美术馆、北京大学、柬埔寨王国首相洪森、驻外领事馆等机构及个人收藏。出版有《刘文清作品集》、《中国当代美术家――中原画风国画卷刘文清》作品集、《电视美术》专著等，并有多篇论文在国家重点期刊发表。美术作品被收入多部大型画册，被国内外书画收藏家收购。
《美术界》、《江苏画刊》、《中国美术》、《世界信息报》、《书画研究》、《东方艺术》、《河南日报》等多次刊载评论文章对其作品加以评析。河南电视台、郑州电视台、洛阳电视台、周口电视台已拍摄电视专题片予以报导。　个人传略收入《中国现代美术家名人大辞典》、《世界名人录》中国卷、《中国电视名人录》等多部辞书。　作品《勤劳致福》入选全国第四届年画展，《福到农家》入选第七届全国美展，《对弈图》入选第四届中国体育美展，《融融雪》入选中国画三百家作品展。
