张国君，男，1957年生于河北赵县。1980年毕业于河北省艺术学校舞台美术专业，后在河北省歌舞剧院从事舞台美术工作。1986年调入河北画院，中国美术家协会会员。现任河北画院院长，河北省美术家协会副主席，国家一级美术师。
2006年油画作品“雪塬”参加王怀骐工作室师生联展（石家庄）
2007年油画作品《战斗在太行山上》（合作）参加全军美展，“美术观察”发表（北京）
2008年国画作品《遇过秋山》、《溪山秋意图》参加原点·漂移当代学院艺术美术作品展。
2009年油画作品《金秋十月柿正红》参加庆祝中华人民共和国成立六十周年河北省美术作品展同时入选第十一届全国美术作品展（与张立农合作）（石家庄、武汉、北京、韩国）
2010年6月参加河北美术家“走进太行”广东交流展（广州）
2010年8月参加河北美协主席团及各市美协主席作品展(北戴河)
2011年4月组织画家“走进太行”写生创作活动，同时创作油画作品《太行·秋》，在河北美术馆展出。
2011年8月，国画作品《苍岭无声》参加“根固文脉”海峡两岸艺术家书画作品展在台北展出，同时赴台进行文化艺术交流活动。
2012年3月，由广东画院、广东美术馆主办的“气象之合”张国君、李彦鹏中国画·版画联展，在东莞广东美术馆深联美术馆展出，展出国画作品30余件。
2012年5月，由上海青浦区政协、教科文卫委员会主办的“华夏太美”张国君、李彦鹏、张立农三人联展在上海青浦美术馆展出，20余件作品参展。
2012年8月，参加由河北省美术家协会主办的“相聚戴河——中国画名家五人作品邀请展”。
2013年9月，参加由法国巴黎国际艺术城、法中友好交流协会、法国东方文化中心、法国世界遗产文化中心共同主办的“法国巴黎国际艺术城2013年中国画名家邀请展，展出中国画作品20件。
2013年12月，参加在广西、南宁、邕江湾美术馆举办的“山西、河北、宁夏、广西四省（区）书画院院长中国画作品展”，展出作品15件。
2014年9月，赴马来西亚吉隆坡参加中马建交40周年中国艺术馆特展。
