林逸鹏，江苏省张家港市人。1987年毕业于南京师范大学美术系，获硕士学位。现为南京师范大学美术学院教授（硕士生导师）。作品多次参加国内外画展并获奖。在《文艺研究》、《美术观察》、《美苑》、《美术报》等发表多篇论文。数年前曾以其“废纸论”，在中国书画界、收藏界，“振耳欲聋”，其所引起的争议，至今不歇。这一极具心理冲击力的观点，已成为书画界、收藏界及诸媒体中一大流行词。
