任恒泉，男，山东新泰人，1962年生于沈阳。现为中国美术家协会会员，辽宁美术家协会会员副主席，中国画坛97’百杰画家，辽宁艺术学院教授，辽宁风景画研究会副会长，中国新画网加盟画家。1992年作品《红豆生北国》参加辽宁省纪念“毛泽东延安文艺讲话50周年美术家协会举办的“纪念讲话50周年美术展览”，并获二等奖；1992年作品《红豆生北国》入选中国美术家协会举办的“纪念讲话50周年全国美术展览”；1992年作品《初雪》入选中国美术协会会员举办的“黄河画展”；1993年作品《春恋》选送中国美协举办的首届“中国画展”；1993年作品《雪夜情思》入选1993中国画大展并编入画集；1996年作品《秋酣》、《春酣》分别收藏于中国军事博物馆、银川美术馆；1997年作品《北国红豆》参加中国文联、中国美协举办的’97中国画坛百杰画展，同时被评为中国画坛百杰画家。1999年《沂蒙山十月》入选第九届全国美展；2002年《古原秋色》纪念讲话60周年全国银奖。
近年来，有些作品被《中国书画报》、《辽宁日报》、《美术大观》等多家报刊专题介绍发表。大量作品被东南亚各国及日本、美国、加拿大等国家的文化界、收藏界人士收藏。出版有《百杰画家任恒泉》、《花鸟名家任恒泉》等画集画册。
