杨进民，1956年生于陕西，1987年毕业于解放军艺术学院，中国美术家协会会员，徐州市美术家协会副主席．解放军专业画家。
解放军总参谋部美术创作院副院长，中国美术家协会会员，中国美协河山画会会员，中国画学会理事，人民大学特聘教授，江苏师范大学美术学院兼职硕士生导师。
