任伟，斋号知竹堂，1960年生于四川省乐至县。曾先后就读于四川师范大学中文系，中央美术学院国画系，中国艺术研究院中国美术创作院研究生班。现为中国美术家协会会员，资阳市美协副主席，中国书画艺术研究会常务理事。出版《任伟画集》，《大狗熊画教材》等。
