沈德志，汉族，山东莒南人，大学文化，曾就学于广州美术学院。国家一级美术师，著名国画家，银川书画院院长，银川市八届政协委员、九届政协常委，宁夏美术家协会副主席；宁夏文联副主席；中国国家博物馆画廊艺委会顾问。1997年被中国文联、中国美术家协会评为中国当代杰出的《中国画坛百杰》画家；被中国文联表彰并荣获“成果奖”；被宁夏美术家协会评为“杰出的美术家”，他的画作多次入展国际、全国高层次的国家级展览并获奖。应邀在香港、全国部分省市车工难过举办个人国画作品展。出版有《沈德志书画集》、《沈德志作品精选集》等。其创作生平及代表作品被《世界美术家名人大辞典》、《中国美术家大辞典》等多种名人名录入编。中华人民共和国国务院为表彰他为我国艺术事业所作出的突出成就，特授予他政府特殊津贴。
