许俊，1960年生于北京。1980年考入中央美术学院中国画系，1984年毕业创作获叶浅予奖学金。毕业后一直从事中国画及书法、篆刻的研究、教学和创作。曾任中国人民大学艺术学院副院长，中国艺术研究院研究生院副院长，国家教育部高等学校艺术类专业教学指导委员会委员。现为中国艺术研究院中国画院副院长，研究生导师。兼任中央美术学院中国画学院外聘教授，中央文化管理干部学院艺术学院客座教授，中国美协中国重彩画研究会副会长，中国画学会理事，中国美术家协会会员，中华诗词学会会员。
