段忠勇，1954年生于河南省郸城县，1976年在河南郸城县虎岗公社文化站工作；1982年在郸城县文化馆工作，曾任河南周口地区文联工组联部主任。现为中国美术家协会会员，中国山水画研究院副院长，北京艺伴宏生文化艺术中心艺术总监。
