唐玉清，男，山东省烟台市牟平区人。自幼酷爱绘画，少年时代苦心临摹大量古代名画，得以向古代许多名家学习，从而积累和汲取不少中国画传统技法，为日后的笔墨探究打下坚实基础。
青年时的唐玉清不仅继续着他对中国绘画理论与技法的研习，还涉猎油画、素描、装潢等西洋绘画的技法，并将其有机的融入中国画的创作中去，逐画艺大进。为了观察社会和大自然，他不辞辛苦，长途跋涉，游历祖国的名山大川及名胜古迹。行走间，总与画笔、画本相伴，将祖国的壮丽山河尽写其中。在进行大量写生的同时结识了许多美术界名流并与之切磋，掌握了更多的技法，运用起来愈加得心应手、挥洒自如。数十年的创作和思考，使其画风大气磅礴之间不少典雅细腻、独辟蹊径且自成一格。
先生的作品多次在市、省、国家级刊物发表，并多次参加国际展览，大量作品流传日本、美国、新加坡、韩国及港、澳、台等国家和地区，得到广泛好评，不少精品被中南海、宋庆龄故居博物馆、郭沫若故居博物馆、中国翰林碑刻等国内外博物馆和收藏家珍藏。
