杜连仁，1932年1月生于辽宁东沟县。1949年参加工作，先后担任省文工团舞台美术、省人民出版社美术编辑、辽宁省青年报社美术编辑、沈阳鲁迅美术学院教授。等工作，1955年考入原东北美术美术专科学校。1958年毕业于沈阳鲁迅美术学院，留校任教。擅水墨人物画及连环画，作品构图考究，充实严谨，笔墨劲健深厚有力，形象生动，洋溢着浓郁生活气息。中国画《草原婚礼》、《蒙古马》、《苍鹰》、《士女》等作品多次在国内外展出及报刊发表，其中《岭上青松》、《走自己路》先后在《人民日报》、《光明日报》发表并加编者按，《岭上青松》由中国美术馆收藏，《铁流》选入全国美展并和《炼铁工》一起被收入《中国青年画家作品选》、《苍鹰》、《禅师图》分别在日本、韩国获国际水墨画优秀作品奖。连环画《草原儿子》、《谁之罪》获中国连环画二等奖和三等奖。著有《水墨人物画技法》、《浅谈连环画构图》及《拾起那飘落的红叶》等。现为中国美术家协会会员。
