周国城，出生于浙江杭州，毕业于浙江美术学院书法专业班。现为中国书法协会会员，西泠印社社员，广东炎黄文化研究会理事，国家一级美术师，广州市文史研究馆馆员，广州市美术家协会副主席，广州书画研究院院长，广州市书法家协会副主席。绘画、书法、篆刻作品多次入选全国书法篆刻展。其中篆刻作品入选全国第四届篆刻展和西泠印社举办的全国篆刻和国际篆刻展，并有获奖。

1993年调广州后，国画作品先后入选广东省建国50周年、建党80周年和省第三届中国画展，入选全国名家花鸟画邀请展和走进西部中国画邀请展，国画作品多次在全国专业报刊刊登和出版。

主要论文和出版专著有《颜真卿祭侄稿及其笔法》、《草书异体字汇编》等，参加全国研讨会的论文有1996年与中国书协联合举办的康有为国际书学研讨会，和入选赵孟頫国际书学研讨会，其他文章也有刊登在专业报刊、杂志上。
