李镇云，生于青岛，自幼喜欢书画，1968年12月上山下乡，后在农村搞阶级教育展览，画毛主席十次路线斗争，以肖像为主。
后拜书法家孙志裴学习魏碑，拜朱学达写颜体，书法自成一体．做雕塑拜哈尔滨鲁迅美术学院唐鸿眼为师，2000年4月韩美林亲自发执归照签字认可的工作室成员(任外事主任和艺术总监)，齐白石第十八弟子唐鸿珍(辽宁美术家理事)入室弟子.1997年在天津南开大学"东方艺术中心"专研范曾的书画艺术三个月，仿范曾大师书画惟妙惟肖，以假乱真.
2002年与广东美术协会主席陈永锵在北京国宾馆钓鱼台为国家文化部画画，曾为国家总理朱容基画过肖像，被中国人寿保险公司总经理王宪章先生收藏，大寿字被朱容基收藏，书法被韩美林收藏.著名相声演员姜昆为李镇云题"乐无涯"，著名雕塑家书画艺术家钱少武为他亲自书写手喻.著名雕塑家、油画家李学收他为私人助理。

李镇云性格豪放、爽直、正义、其作品被国内外很多藏家收藏，许多企业宾馆悬挂他的书画作品。是中国美术家协会、书法家协会唯一承认的韩美林工作室成员之一，曾和韩美林先生共同搞过多个大型广场雕塑：北京中裕大厦装修设计、卓大大学城群雕塑、大连老虎滩群虎雕塑、26届亚特兰大奥运会标志雕塑、深圳四海公园盖世金牛雕塑、深圳龙岗广场五龙并臻雕塑、贵阳神牛盖世雕塑。被香港国际艺术学院特特聘高级画师，创作180幅鹏鹰图、100幅丹鹤图，被香港著名国际建筑设计师邱育章先生收藏．创作的６尺＂复活圆明园＂界画被台湾军界以五万元买藏．后又创作丈二匹＂复活圆明园＂。
李镇云先生笔风苍劲有力，大胆激泼墨，笔法独特，受到人们的极大关注，是一位年轻有潜力收藏价值的书画家、雕塑家。现任齐鲁云龙书画艺术联谊会副主席、青岛韩美林艺术研究院副院长、深圳韩美林艺术研究院副院长、南京韩美林艺术研究院副院长、香港大厦国际艺术学院高级书画家、雕塑家。中国所有汪国新关公艺术研究院发起人、创始人，得到了著名国画家汪国新及夫人郑桂兰的认可，并亲笔授权。
