蒋美艳，生于中国黑龙江省哈尔滨市，祖籍河北。毕业于哈尔滨师范大学美术系，先后师从著名大师高冠华、范曾、高卉民、于志学、卢禹舜、石齐、王明明、蒋采苹、李魁正教授。定居北京10余年。现为中国美术家协会会员，黑龙江北天书画院副院长，南京书画院特聘画师，中国艺术研究院研究生、访问学者，新加坡拔萃画会荣誉理事。
2009年作品《东方天使》在“相约湘江”第五届人物画大展中荣获金奖。
2009年作品《和风溯源》在2009年度“最具影响力世界华人艺术家”美术作品大赛中荣获金奖、在全国第十一届美展黑龙江展区获优秀奖，并在其他大展中获四次优秀奖。
出版个人画集：《溢彩佛陀》、《中国当代著名画家蒋美艳》、《蒋美艳重彩花卉》、《中国现代彩墨画集二》、《蒋美艳碟丛系列》、《中国重彩美术全集》、《蒋美艳画集》、《大红袍》，刊登全国各类艺术专业报刊20余次。在国内外举办个人画展8次，出国艺术考察10余次。
2009年荣膺最具影响力世界华人艺术家。
2011年11月19日于北京草场地艺术区举办“蒋美艳个人画展”。
