徐培基(1909—1970)字植生，别号山左布衣。潍城区东关人。1929年考入上海艺专国画系，毕业后留校任教，后又兼任新华艺专附设师范部主任。1937年9月回潍。1938年至1945年8月，任小学、中学校长。1948年10月至1970年，历任潍坊市青年中学、潍坊师范教师，昌潍医专总务主任，潍坊市政协委员、常务委员，潍坊市工艺美术研究所副所长。他擅长画山水。一生遍游全国名山大川，举凡五岳、庐山、雁荡等名山胜景，无不收入画卷，写生稿有40余册。为人民大会堂山东厅作大幅画《大明湖》，为国庆10周年作画《山高寿永》《云门献寿》。
代表作有《五莲风貌》《峡山水库》等。他还擅长书法，精于篆刻，是中国美术家协会上海分会会员，山东文联委员，美协山东分会常务理事。
