方楚乔，生于汕头巿，副教授，中国美术家协会会员，广东省美术家协会理事，广东美术创作院画家，暨南大学艺术学院美术系主任。
1979年至1987年汕头汕樟电影院美工，1990年毕业于广州美术学院国画系，获文学硕士学位；1990年至1994年广州华南文艺术业余大学美术教育讲师，1994至2002年广州暨南大学艺术中心艺术教育副主任。1993年画作《春山晴云》获首届全国山水画展优秀奖，画作《南岭秋浓》入选首届全国中国画展；1996年于广东画院举办个人画展；2001年作品《南粤锦绣》获2001年全国中国画展优秀奖。2002年作品《林壑幽深》获广东省第三届中国画展金奖。2003年作品《夏山拥翠》获第二届全国中国画展优秀奖。2006年于广东省美术馆举办个人画展；1997年著作《百树图谱》由岭南美术出版社出版；2002年画作《林壑幽深》获广东省第三届中国画展金奖；2003年画作《夏山拥翠》获第二届全国中国画展优秀奖；2004年画作《苍岭丹岩》入选第十届全国美展；出版个人画集多部。
