沈心海（1855—1941），江苏崇明人（今上海市崇明人）。原名涵，又名兆涵，钱慧安入室弟子，擅画、花卉、山水、人物，皆佳妙，尤精仕女。卒年九十余。
宣统元年（1909），钱慧安与沈心海、高巨之、蒲作英、吴昌硕、杨东山、程瑶签、王一亭、汪仲山、张善男、马骆等发起“豫园书画善会”于得月楼，会员数百人，钱慧安以“画名久著”、“敬重伦常”被推为首任会长。
钱慧安弟子众多，其中如沈心海、徐小仓、谢闲鸥等皆负名于时。沈心海为钱慧安嫡派弟子，花卉、山水、人物兼擅，更精仕女，所作遒秀古艳，而渲染发髻和开相能一洗甜俗妖媚之习，有出蓝之处。
上世纪三十年代沈为画坛耄耋，画名遍海内，年近九十，腰脚仍健，食不厌粗，能步行三十里
不倦，自云生平不晏起，清晨必散步庭园中，赏玩花木一二小时，而后进餐冶事。境无顺逆，均淡然处之。
每月，沈心海还集合同道中人，有品花会雅集，来者例须携一珍奇花木，诸人评议，胜者举杯为贺。其园中尝出灵芝一株，高四五寸，引以为祥瑞，即邀品花会诸友，赏芝饮酒家中，酒酣挥毫，作《采芝图》留念。
又常游真如黄氏园，对花写生，极风偃雨倾、日照烟笼之妙。
沈心海门墙极盛，如许韵庄、朱良材、孙守伯、谢闲鸥等，皆能传其衣钵，其中以谢闲鸥最为突出。
