毕继民，河北大城人河北人。大学毕业后在廊坊师范学院执教8年、任廊坊画院专业画家8年，1999年调入徐州师范大学美术系任教至今，现为江苏师范大学美术系教授，硕士研究生导师。中国美术家协会会员。

1980年加入河北省美术家协会；
1984年河北师范大学美术学院中国画系毕业，获学士学位；
1987年作品入选“建军六十周年全国美展”获一等奖，河北省委、省政府、文化厅、省美协召开庆功大会进行表彰；
1987年中央电视台、中央人民广播电台共同录制《追求者之歌》专题节目对本人学术追求及艺术成就进行全面报导；
1988年作品《马本斋》被中国美术馆收藏；
1988年作品入选“中国首届红十字会全国美术、书法、摄影作品展”并获优秀作品奖；
1988年应海峡两岸文化交流中心邀请参加“大陆二十位书画名家台北联展”，四件作品入展；
1989年两件作品入选“中华人民共和国第七届美展”，同年两件作品获河北省美展一等奖；
1989年加入中国美术家协会；
1992年应邀参加“中国美术作品巴西展”；
1994年作品入选“中华人民共和国第八届美展”，同年一件作品获河北省美展一等奖；
1999年作品入选“河北省美术作品精品展”；
2000年创作大型系列作品《父老乡亲系列》，作品分别在《美术界》、《艺术界》发表；
2004年参加由中华人民共和国文化部、中国美术家协会、中国画研究院、第十届全国美展组委会等权威机构联合举办的“中华人民共和国第十届美展名家创作研讨班”，共52位画家参加；
2004年应中华人民共和国文化部、中国画研究院邀请参加“世纪丰碑百名中国画名家邀请展”；
2000——2006年在中国艺术类核心期刊及省级以上专业学术期刊发表学术论文多篇、作品数十幅，主持校级科研项目两项。

1980年考入河北师范大学美术学院，修中国画专业，主攻水墨人物

A native of Hebei Province. After graduating from the University, he has been teaching in Langfang Normal University for 8 years, as a professional painter of Langfang Painting Academy for 8 years. Since 1999, he was transferred to the Department of fine arts of Xuzhou Normal University for teaching, now he is a professor of the Department of fine arts of Jiangsu Normal University and a supervisor of master's degree. Member of China Artists Association.

He joined the Artists Association of Hebei Province in 1980.

In 1984, he graduated from the school of fine arts, Hebei Normal University with a bachelor's degree.

In 1987, his works were selected into the "National Art Exhibition for the 60th anniversary of the founding of the army" and won the first prize.

In 1987, CCTV and CNR jointly recorded the special program "songs of pursuers" to comprehensively report their academic pursuit and artistic achievements.

In 1988, Ma Benzhai was collected by China Art Museum.

In 1988, his works were selected into "the first national art, calligraphy and photography exhibition of the Red Cross Society of China" and won the excellent works award.

In 1988, at the invitation of the cross strait cultural exchange center, he participated in the "Taipei joint exhibition of 20 famous calligraphers and painters in mainland China", four works were exhibited.

In 1989, two works were selected into the 7th art exhibition of the people's Republic of China, and in the same year, two works won the first prize of Hebei art exhibition.

In 1994, his works were selected into the 8th art exhibition of the people's Republic of China, and in the same year, one of his works won the first prize of Hebei art exhibition.

In 1999, his works were selected into "Hebei fine art exhibition";

In 2000, he created a large-scale series of works "the family of the old and the villagers", which were published in "the art world" and "the art world".

In 2004, he participated in the "seminar on the creation of famous artists of the 10th art exhibition of the people's Republic of China" jointly organized by the Ministry of culture of the people's Republic of China, China Artists Association, Chinese Painting Research Institute, the Organizing Committee of the 10th National Art Exhibition and other authoritative organizations, with 52 painters participating in the seminar.

In 2004, at the invitation of the Ministry of culture of the people's Republic of China and the Chinese Painting Research Institute, he participated in the "Century Monument 100 Chinese painting masters Invitation Exhibition";

From 2000 to 2006, he published many academic papers and dozens of works in China's core art journals and professional academic journals at or above the provincial level, and presided over two university level scientific research projects.
