姜舟，原名敦修，字大公。1958年入南京师范大学美术系就读，承傅抱石、陈之佛、吕斯百、秦宣夫、黄纯尧等名师亲授，1963年毕业后因品学兼优被留校继续深造两年，专攻花鸟画，并从著名书法家尉天池教授研习书法。
主要成就中国美术家协会会员，中国书法家协会会员，江苏省美协理事
代表作品《怎样画兰》、《各家心得-画竹》、《怎样画鸟》、《怎样画葡萄》
1965年7月进江苏省展览馆从事美术创作，1976年3月调徐州市群众艺术馆任书画艺术指导，1986年底调入徐州国画院任副院长，并专事书画创作，1988年5月被聘为国家二级美术师。1993年7月调至徐州师范大学美术系任系主任，副教授。现为徐州师范大学美术系教授，中国美术家协会会员，中国书法家协会会员，江苏省美协理事，江苏省花鸟画研究会常务理事，江苏省徐悲鸿研究会常务理事，徐州市文联副主席，徐州市美术协名誉主席，大风书画研究院名誉院长，并曾任江苏省第七、八、九届人大代表。
姜舟长期从事美术创作、美术教学和美术组织领导工作。其书画作品曾多次参加省及国家级大赛，并多次获奖，已在多种省级以上专业报刊或画集中出版、发表作品与学术论文500余件(篇)。曾先后于北京、南京、哈尔滨、西安、深圳、港、奥、台以及法国、日本、澳大利亚、新西兰等国内外多次举办个展或联展。作品被国内外多家博物馆、美术馆、书画院收藏，现已出版《龙门二十技法》、《郑文公碑技法》、《姜舟花鸟画集》、《怎么画竹》、《怎样画兰》、《各家心得-画竹》、《怎样画鸟》、《怎样画葡萄》、《中国花鸟画教程》等专著十多部，受到广泛好评。
