朱子容，浙江永康人。系中国美术家协会和中国版画家协会会员、浙江人民美术出版社副编审，已退休。木刻《来帮忙》入选第三届全国版画展。编著《江山多娇》、《面向未来》、《鹏程万里》、《边陲小花》、《花香千里》等。他1958年毕业于现中国美术学院。50多年来在各级报刊发表了大量美术作品，多次获奖。同时创作、出版连环画、年画作品50多册（张）。1998年荣获文化部、新闻出版总署等联合颁发的全国年画优秀编辑奖。在上世纪50年代曾有多幅版画被送到苏联及东欧各国展览，深受好评，有的作品被美术馆、博物馆及书画院等收藏。近年来，朱子容潜心创作国画作品，在继承传统技法的基础上，吸取其他画种的表现技法，融合到自己的作品中，并坚持雅俗共赏，力求开拓创新。
