李惠，男，汉族，陕西省户县人。1927年2月生，自幼喜爱绘画和民间美术。
1945年入陕西省技艺术师范专科学校美术班，学习国画，师从侯友可、袁白涛、赵望云先生，潜心研习山水画。
1947年毕业后任教于振华中学。曾和好友毛亚灵举办国画联展。
1949年7月入西北军政大学，同年调入部队做文化工作和舞台美术工作。
1952年入朝作战，作战地宣传，为兵服务。历任部队文工团员、美术创作员，县人民武装部政委。
1976年转业陕西人民美术出版社，任美术画册编辑室主任、编审、中国美术家协会会员。擅长中国画山水和画马。山水笔墨奔放，雄浑俊秀；骏马雄健亢奋，气势磅礴。主要作品《贺龙元帅和塞上民兵》、《红林》，参加了全军二、三届美展。《阮淑贞》、《跃马擒敌》、《地下粮仓》先后参加了全国美展，为人民美术出版社、河北美术出版社出版，为人民美术出版、河北美术出版社出版，并被中国历史博物馆，天津艺术博物馆收藏。近年来多件作品参加省市美展并在加拿大、菲律宾等国展出。合作编者有《秦始皇陵俑塑群》、《唐十作陵石刻》、《中国瑰宝——陶俑》为陕西人民美术出版社、香港万海出版社出版。责编多部大型画册，曾获全国、地区、省、一二等奖。名字和成就收入《中国当代美术家人名录》、《中国当代艺术界名人录》、《中国现代美术家名人大辞典》等。
