王麦杆(1921—2002)原名王兴堂，山东招远人。擅长中国画、油画。抗日战争时期致力木刻，组织《革艺》、铁流漫画研究社、刀笔社，曾主编《革艺木刻集》、《鲁迅五年祭》等刊物。曾任新四军美术教员、二野五兵团宣传部干部，贵州省美协副主席，天津美术学院教授，研究生导师。现任天津美协、天津画院顾问。木刻作品《南京万人冢》、《放回来的爸爸》和《富士山之会》等。曾在国内外举办画展。作品载入《世界美术全集》。
