王庆吉，生于河北省霸州市，1988年就学于天津美术学院国画系。现为兰州画院专业画家，国家二级美术师，兰州市美术家协会副主席。作品参加“黄河壶口赞”全国中国画提名展，“第二届全国少数民族美术作品展”获纪念奖，“西部大地情——全国中国画展”，“迎奥运全国中国画展”，“纪念毛泽东‘讲话’发表五十周年全国美术作品展”，“全国百幅扇面精品展”，“全国画院作品邀请展”，“新世纪全国中国画作品展”。1994年出版连环画《三十六计》、《孙子兵法》等。
