刘万林，河南汝州人。国家一级美术师教授，河南省国画院常务副院长，中国美术家协会会员河南省美术家协会理事，河南省美术家协会，中国人物画艺委会，顾问河南省美术家协会，中国山水画艺委会，顾问河南省手指画会艺术顾问，河南省艺术职称高评委（省人事厅注册），从事中国画创作和理论研究；中国画作品十多次入选全国展览，三十多次入选省级展览，五次入选国际展；获文化部优秀奖，全国二等奖，省文艺成果奖，十多次获省级金奖、特等奖、一等奖等。曾担任艺术主持，组织第二届当代山水画展；作品为毛主席纪念堂、各地博物馆、八路军纪念馆、八大山人纪念馆、徐渭纪念馆、蒲华纪念馆等收藏。受聘为黄河科技大学教授、郑州大学名誉教授。出版有两种画集，入编多种典籍。
