田林海，又名田林罕，号九里山人、艺林樵童，生于浙江永康。毕业于浙江美术学院附中，结业于中国美术学院山水画研修班。曾任职于浙江衢州文化馆和水电部十三局，现为山东美术出版社编辑室主任。
系中国美术家协会会员、山东画院高级画师、杭州西泠书画院特聘画师、山东省政协联谊书画院画师。

擅长中国画山水及人物。其中主要有：《故园烟雨》入选“首届中国美术出版界美术家作品展”，作品由中国美术馆收藏；《疏林烟雨红军桥》入选“第十六届国际造型艺术家协会代表大会·美术特展”，作品由组委会收藏；《烟雨南孔庙》入选“第二届中国北京国际美术双年展”，作品由中国美协收藏。《紫气禅音图》为第三届中国北京双年展备选资格展特邀作品；《一阵秋雨烟云碎》入选第三届中国美协会员中国画精品展；应邀创作《雷鸣幽谷声千里——赞比亚·维多利亚瀑布》参加由国务院新闻办、中国文联、中国美协主办的“同一个世界——中国画家彩绘联合国大家庭艺术大展”。应邀创作《云近禅声远》，参加由中国文联、香港文汇报主办的庆香港回归十周年美术展览。2003年获山东省总工会、省文化厅、省文联授予的首届“五一文化奖”；2004年获中华全国总工会授予的全国“五一文化奖”；2004年获中华人民共和国文化部授予的第十三届“群星奖”（金奖）。中央美术学院院长潘公凯为其题词：“罕者山水水意墨韵”。
