李燕华，1944年12月生于天津，祖籍江苏泰县。1966年毕业于天津美术学院绘画系，1974年调入天津作协《天津文学》任美术编辑至今。中国美术家协会会员、《天津文学》编审。
擅长中国工笔花鸟画，作品曾参加1988年第七届全国美展：1992年第二届全国工笔画大展及天津市多次展览，并于1991年在台北市举办个人花鸟画展，1997年在天津举办个人花鸟画展。虽然生长在城市，却喜爱纯朴的自然。喜爱绿色的一枝一叶，喜爱多姿的一花一草，喜爱百鸟和呜的天籁华章，沉醉于这一切自然生命的勃勃生机之中。用自己的笔画出对生命的热爱，对未来朦胧的憧憬，对美的追求。她的运笔钧勒挺健劲朗，刚柔相济，不露女儿腔，无纵横使转气，具有男性阳刚之拙意。在用墨上显然受画家陈之佛的画风影响。其作品题材丰富，格调高雅，师法造化，清丽动人。继承了中国传统绘画之精要，而且在总的格调中具现代绘画应有之素质。
