顾伯逵（1892-1969）号九峰居士、片石斋老人。扬州人。九岁随出家镇江金山寺的舅父竺仙学画，并云游四方。18岁独立作画，兼收石涛、板桥、伯年等名家之长，渐成俊逸洒脱、激情奔放的艺术风格。早先着意画猴，惟妙惟肖，自成一绝。兼工人物、山水、花卉、翎毛。偶制灯彩、风筝，亦匠心独运。
新中国建立后，多次在上海、南京及扬州举办画友联展或个人画展。1956年，被聘为江苏省国画院副画师，以后任南京艺术学院美术系名誉教授。为江苏省美协和华东美协会员，扬州市政协常委、人大代表。晚年作品以花鸟山水为主。代表作有《松猴图》、《松鼠图》和《三唱雄鸡东方红》等，其中《三唱雄鸡东方红》曾获华东地区创作奖，被北京人民大会堂选用。《扬州文化志》《中国美术家人名补遗辞典》
