程征(1944.6—)别名康平，湖南衡山人。擅长美术理论。1969年毕业于西安美术学院，1975—1978年任《美术》杂志编辑，1981年任陕西国画院专职美术理论家，艺术委员会主任，1987年任副研究员，1993年任研究员。现任西安美术学院美术史论系教授、博士研究生导师。中国美术家协会会员、中国美术家协会理论委员会委员，国家有突出贡献专家。
主要研究向中国古代美术、近现代美术、民间美术。
主要著作有《速写技法》、《中国历代雕塑·秦始皇陵俑塑》（合编）、《唐十八陵石刻》、《长安中国画坛论集》、《画家赵望云》、《黄河彩陶》、 《中国美术分类全集—中国民间美术全集—剪纸》等。其中由人民美术出版社出版的《速写技法》，现已发行100余万册；《中国历代雕塑·秦始皇陵俑塑》获“首届中国优秀美术图书奖”金质奖；《画家赵望云》获黄河流域九省区 “黄河金牛图书奖”一等奖；《中国美术分类全集—中国民间美术全集—剪纸》荣获“第二届全国优秀艺术图书奖”一等奖、“第六届国家图书奖”荣誉奖。
另有100多篇文论在国家专业期刊、学术文集、全国与国际学术会议、中国大百科全书，或作为书籍前言发表
