林存安，生于安徽皋城，山东平邑人。中国美术家协会会员，安徽美术家协会常务副主席，中华文化促进会主席团成员，合肥中华文化促进会主席，安徽大学兼职教授，安徽省书画院特聘画家。作品先后在德国、美国、日本和我国香港、台湾等地展出，在各类展览中多次获奖。《艺术界》、《艺术博览》、《美术》、《光明日报》及香港《龙语文物艺术》等作过专版介绍。

2002年，安徽人民出版社出版《林存安中国画》专辑。

2002年10月，应邀赴韩国大田举办个人展览。

2005年10月，应邀参加徽墨心象中国画名家提名展。

2006年9月，应邀参加经典艺术联展。

2008年8月，在安徽省博物馆举办林存安中国画观摩展。

2008年12月，牵头举办了“传承与缅怀——20世纪安徽中国画八家作品展”。

2009年6月，参加当代著名画家赴台文化交流团活动并举办联展和论坛。

2009年10月，与中国美协联合牵头举办了“经典回顾现代思考”系列展览和研讨活动。
