梁世雄，1933年生于广东南海，原广州美术学院教授、中国画系主任、岭南画派研究室主任、岭南画派纪念馆副董事长、广东省美术家协会常务理事，广东省文史研究馆馆员、中国美术家协会会员。
二十世纪五十至六十年代，梁世雄的绘画以人物画为主，七十年代后转为山水画。其作品气势雄伟，意境清新，既传承了岭南画派的写实和秀丽，又融合了北方各派的粗犷与雄健。代表作有：《归渔》（1959，广东美术馆藏）、《椰林秋晓》（1960，广东美术馆藏）、《不尽长江滚滚流》（1984，南海博物馆藏）、《朝鹭腾飞》（1989）、《珠江春晓》（第一稿，1995，人民大会堂藏）、《云峰叠嶂映松涛》（1996，中南海紫光阁藏）《台湾太鲁阁激流》（2002）、《阿里山之魂》（2002）、《珠江春晓》（第二稿，2004，广东美术馆藏）和《数峰烟雨数峰晴》（2005）等。
