彭西春，1964年出生于河南淮阳，1979年毕业于河南省淮阳中学，1983年考入河南大学美术系，1987年毕业获学士学位并留校任教。现为河南大学艺术学院副院长、教授，中国美术家协会会员。
主要作品：
《调虎离山》入选第八届全国美展，并获河南展区一等奖。
《绿荫》入选纪念毛泽东《在延安文艺座谈会上的讲话》发表60周年全国美展，并获河南省青年美术作品世纪大展一等奖。
《人物》获河南省首届中国画艺术展金奖。
《晨读》获河南省教育系统美术书法精品展一等奖。
《明雾》获河南省中国人物画第三届学术展一等奖。
《山外的天》入选纪念蒋兆和诞辰100周年全国第二届中国画人物画作品展。
