赵燕，1940年生于辽宁省丹东市。毕业于山东艺术专科学校美术系国画专业。系中国美术家协会会员、山东省女书画家协会副主席。现为山东师范大学美术学院教授。
1984年连环画《有趣的动物》入选第六届全国美术作品展览；
1985年编著《艺用鱼形资料》丛书之一，由辽宁省美术出版社出版；
1991年山水画《山高情深》入选全国第一届山水画邀请展；
1992年山水画《远方》入选在台湾举行的两岸美术家观摩展，并入选画集；
1994年山水画《净》入选第八届全国美术作品展览，发表于1998年第7期《美术观察》；
1995年作品《东方屹立》入选第四次世界妇女大会中国女美术家作品展，编入由中国美术馆出版的《中国女美术家作品选》；
1998年论文《心性清净皆自得——山水画与“心”》发表于《美术观察》第7期、《论一》发表于《美术向导》第6期；
1999年作品《与日月同辉》参加庆祝建国50周年山东美术作品展，获二等奖；
2004年作品《南山塞天地，日月石上生》参加庆祝建国55周年山东美术作品展，获二等奖；
《飞流直下》、《漓江春雨》等四幅作品赴日本国参加第19回国民文化祭（雪舟缘）日中水墨画交流展览。
