黄传伟(黄炜)，画家。曾任清华大学美术学院客座教授、南京信息工程大学传媒与艺术学院顾问教授、上海美术电影制片厂美术设计、动画导演；中国美术家协会、中国电影家协会、中国动画学会会员；日本华侨华人文学艺术家联合会、(美国)国际美术家协会理事。
1941年生于北京。l964年毕业于中央工艺美术学院装饰绘画系壁画专业。黄传伟早年从事过动画电影创作，是许多著名的中国经典动画影片的主要创作者之一。他在拍片之余，创作了大量的绘画作品，作品多次入选全国及上海市美展，部分作品曾出版和在国外展出。1987年旅居日本东京，作为职业画家活跃在日本及国际画坛。黄传伟擅长油画和重彩，画风质朴而写实。在日本多次举办个人画展，还参加多种群体画展，作品曾在美国、加拿大、墨西哥、新加坡、中国台北等地展出。2008年回国定居。获奖纪录：入选日本全国公募展的作品曾三次获奖(其中包括最高奖——“大赏”)。作品被中国美术馆、毛主席纪念堂、日本红十字会总社、《读卖新闻》社、日本国立电气通信大学、NHK、三和建设株式会社、野崎美术馆等机构收藏。
1941年出生于北京；
1947至1959年6～18岁；基础教育，就读、毕业于北京育英小学，北京第25中学；
1959至1964年中央工艺美术学院装饰绘画系壁画专业〔学制5年〕学习、毕业。师承庞薰琹、张光宇、张仃、袁运甫、张振仕、吳冠中等先辈艺术家、教授；◎毕业创作《渔村夜话》被中国美术馆收藏；
1964至1987年在上海美术电影制片厂工作；历任美术设计、导演，参加过十几部影片的筹划和创作。其中《小号手》、《两只小孔雀》、《人参果》、《哪吒闹海》、《鹿铃》、《天书奇谭》等名片，均担任主要创作职务；
绘画作品多次入选全国性的各种美术展览会，当中一部分被选送出版或到国外展出；
以毛主席形象为题材的绘画创作有：《青年一代》《我们是毛主席的红小兵》、《心中的红太阳》、《葵花》、《北戴河》、《你办事，我放心》、《登庐山》、《咏梅》等；
与阿达、胡永凯等共同发起“海风画展”，促进了上海绘画各流派多样风格的发展，在上海美术界引起很大反响；
1983年担任导演，《熊猫胖胖》、《海力布》、《雪狮子》等影片都成为有影响的作品；《海力布》获广电部、文化部等四部委頒发的“腾龙奬”；
1987年赴日本，在国立千叶大学研究生院研究日本的绘画和艺术；
1987至2008年在东京银座、小田急新宿本店、三越、东急、丸井今井、大丸等各地百貨公司及画廊美术馆举办个人画展或群体展，作品被众多个人收藏家和会社收藏。其中有，现天皇妹夫、前日本首相细川护熙的胞弟近衞忠煇、国际金融会社会长佐藤新一、最上恒产会长早坂太吉、全日本棒球明星長嶋茂雄等名人；日本赤十字社总社、国立电气通信大学、山野美容学院、读卖新闻社、NHK、NEC、三和等社团企业；
1998年开始被日本权威的《美术年鑑》选为逐年给予评价和追综介绍的油画家；
2000年在日本初次参加公募展。于上野东京都美术馆举办的“第26回连展上，油画《沉睡的大都会》获『东京都议会议长赏』；
在东京银座画廊美术馆举办的“第14回日本选拔美术展”上，油画《蝶恋花》获『大赏』〔最高奖〕；
2001年被清华大学美术学院聘为客座教授；
2002年“第28回连展”上，油画《凉风》获『日本环境大臣赏』；
2008年回国定居；被南京信息工程大学传媒与艺术学院聘为顧问教授；
2011年重新加入中国美术家协会；油画《目尽青天怀今古》被毛主席纪念堂收藏；
2012年《黄传伟人物画选》出版並被美国国会图书馆正式收录入库，将制作成该馆的电子目录书藉；
9月14‐20日，油画《亲人》在中国国家博物馆“亲情中华―世界华侨华人美术书法展”展出並获『佳作奨』，被中国华侨历史博物馆收藏；
2013年应谢晋夫人徐大雯约请，为著名电影导演谢晋诞辰90周年创作题为《金杯银杯不如百姓口碑－谢晋》油画肖像画，获好评；
2014年油画《老来乐》入选第十二届全国美術作品展；油画《约会》入选"庆祝建国65周年上海美术作品展"；油画《金杯银杯不如百姓口碑---谢晋》入选第二届世界华侨华人美术书法展，获得「美术作品佳作奖」；
