毛志成，1962年生于甘肃庆阳，毕业于西北师范大学美术系，现为甘肃画院专业画家，办公室主任、政协甘肃省九届委员、国家二级美术师，曾进修于中央美院国画系。
作品多次在省、国家级大型展览中展出，部分获奖，92年获文化部、中国美协主办的“全国美术作品联展”创作二等奖；93年获中国东方文化研究会主办的“全国书画艺术精品展”三等奖；96年获共青团中央、中国美协、全国侨联等八家联合举办的“华人书画艺术精品展”优秀奖；97年获新加坡神州书画院主办的“华人书画艺术展”优秀奖；2002年入选“第二届迎新春全国美术作品邀请展”；2000年入选文化部主办当代中国中国画高级人才成果展暨全国画院院长中国画新作展，分别获甘肃省美协主办的甘肃省美术作品展创作二等奖两次，三等奖三次。作品入选《二十世纪中华画苑掇英大画册》上下集；《跨世纪中国书画艺术精品集》、《中国美术书法界名人名作博览》、《全国画院院长中国画新作展精品集》、《甘肃美术作品集》作品92年在北京革命博物馆展现，2000年在中国美术馆展出，并有许多作品流传于日本、美国、新加坡和港台等地。

其作品风格以写实、西部藏族、新疆维吾尔族民俗生活为主，形成自己的创作风格。
